Account Manager
Location: Hampton
£18,000 — OTE £25,000 |
Main Purpose:
This
role centres on selling to an existing client base over the telephone to
achieve revenue and contract targets. Maintaining client relationships
to enable renewals and up selling of contracts to existing client base
is key to this role.
Responsibilities:

To
achieve new business contracts and revenue sales in accordance with
“ the companies “ targets.

To
up sell existing clients to achieve growth within contracts where
ever possible
-
To
meet outbound call & activity targets
-
Initiate and manage the migration of clients from existing services
on to the new platform
-
Obtain competitor and contact information for the enhancement of the
Client lists
-
To
identify full extent of business proposition via calls, research
and/or trial data. Develop an appropriate business proposal based
on this information and effectively present the solution via a
proposal to the prospect.

To
close business via commitment from prospect in the form of a signed
committed contract, in line with agreed commercials. .

Gain market feedback on potential enhancements, additions, new
content etc for “ the companies “ products and services and on
competitive activity, products and services. This information to be
fed to the marketing/product development team on a regular basis.

All sales administration duties carried out in a timely manner.
Contracts to be processed internally in accordance with agreed
procedures and full briefing given to internal or external Account
Manager/ business as a hand over process
Reporting
-
Create and maintain accurate and timely prospect records within
appropriate CRM tool (currently goldmine)

Produce Monthly board report for line manager.

Produce appropriate internal reports as required.
Other Areas

Undertake training as required to maintain and develop both product
and personal development

Maintain market awareness through reading, industry journals,
broadsheets and web sites

Experience and success in a Telesales environment

Proactive approach to lead generation

Organised – good time management skills

Determined, hard working, persistent

Good IT Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)

Database experience (Goldmine an advantage)

Confident telephone manner

Strong closing instinct

You must have a minimum of 1 years B2B experience to be considered
for this role
